UserGate NGFW can be licensed without the limit of concurrently connected devices. In this case system operation is limited by the platform performance and depends on the acquired platform type (in case of HSC) and the number of supported VM cores (in case of virtual appliance).
New user sessions are not blocked, there is a performance degradation with an increase in processed traffic.
If you register incorrect platform using licensing key for platform performance, you will see the corresponding error.
Note
If the virtual machine is registered with the correct key, and further additional cores are added to it, then only the number of cores allowed by the license will be active in the virtual machine.
