12.4.2. Import command

Import is available under General settings, Users, Network, Network policies, Security policies, Global portal, and VPN.

You can import a certificate under UserGate settings. For more details, see Configuring certificates.

Under Users, Network, Network policies, Security policies, Global portal, VPN, you can import rules written in UPL. When you import rules, they replace the existing rules. You can specify multiple rules at once.

Under Users, you can import Captive portal rules. For more details on adding rules, see the respective subsection of the Captive portal section.

Under Network, you can import DNS rules. For more details, see Configuring DNS rules.

Under Network policies, you can import firewall, bandwidth, and NAT and routing rules. For more details, see Configuring firewall rules, Configuring NAT and routing rules, and Configuring traffic shaping rules.

Under Security policies, you can import rules for content filtering, safe browsing, tunnel inspection, SSL inspection, SSH inspection, IPS, mail security, ICAP, and DoS protection. Under Global portal, you can import web portal and reverse proxy rules. For more details on creating rules, see Configuring a web portal and Configuring reverse proxy rules.

Under VPN, you can import server and client rules. For details on adding these rules, see Configuring server rules and Configuring client rules.
