Requests for White List

When blocking sites using content filtering rules, a block page indicating the reason for the blocking is displayed to a user. It shows the name of the rule, the site category and/or the morphological base, and the blacklist which caused the site to be blocked. In addition, the block page suggests that the user request to add the site to the whitelist if they do not agree with the resource block. When you click the Add to white list button, the request appears in the list of requests in the Requests for white list section. Administrators can perform the following actions with the request:

Name

Description

Add to white list

Add the URL to the whitelist. The administrator will be prompted to change the URL and select a whitelist to which the resource should be added.

Delete

Delete this request from the list.

Reject URL

Add the requested URL to the list of rejected requests. When this URL is blocked again in the future, the block page will not contain the Add to white list button. The list of rejected domains and URLs is displayed in the Rejected requests window.

Reject domain

Add the domain of the requested URL to the list of rejected requests. When any URL of this domain is blocked again in the future, the block page will not contain the Add to white list button. The list of rejected domains and URLs is displayed in the Rejected requests window.

Administrators can check the category of the Internet resource using the Check URL form. If the resource belongs to an incorrect category, administrators can request to override the category or change the category themselves on their own device.

To request a category change, click the Suggest URL category button. The request for the category change is sent to UserGate. We will check it, and if confirmed, we will implement it in the next update of the category database of the UserGate URL filtering site.

To change the category locally, click the Override category button and assign up to two new categories. You can see all sites with changed categories under Libraries --> Overridden URL categories. When you check categories for this site or the next time, only the new categories and a special category that includes all sites with overridden categories (User overridden categories) will be returned. Более подробно об изменении категорий для определенных сайтов описано в разделе руководства Запросы в белый список.
