The ping utility can be used to diagnose the availability of network resources. Ping command parameters:

The selected interface address will be used as the source address for the ping command, and the interface for sending packets will be selected in accordance with the routing table. |

Add timestamps to the command output. |
Don't resolve names |
Use IP addresses without resolving them to domain names. |
